When a Trentino local mentions ‘Forst’, they immediately think of this restaurant in the historical centre of the town, an offshoot of the parent company in South Tyrol-Alto Adige, Forst is the place to go for good quality and a welcoming atmosphere if you want to eat food characteristic of Trento. The challenge in terms of design was to reflect this sense of the restaurant’s warmth and the local food culture in the online presence of the website.

The latest technology, a taste of tradition
Tradition, elegance, the necessity for change: these are the needs that we had to meet in terms of design and technologies employed. We created a website that paid a lot of attention to aesthetic and technical details, using black and white to bring to the fore images able to describe the atmosphere of Forst better than words. Elegance and simplicity are interwoven in the website: a navigation menu with a few clear items that poses no difficulties and provides the option of using it literally from any device. A totally responsive website that makes use of the latest development technology available on the market today.
The titles and buttons of the site’s call to action perfectly capture the corporate image and mood defined by our partner, Plus Communications, thus ensuring continuity between the online and offline images (communication materials, menu, serviettes), always fashioned by Plus Communications.

We created the option of exploring the Forst menu online: accessing a preview of the dishes, your choice is made simpler and more immediate, and your curiosity instantly satisfied. You can look for dishes using filters and the previews are loaded progressively according to the interest shown in a particular category. We were thus able to optimise the navigation experience (too much choice, no choice) and the website performance in terms of speed and data consumption.
